Its kind of difficult to review a 15 page lesbian fantasy sex scene all by itself but the sex was written decently and Abby got to explore her secret so yay for her even though f/f isn't really my thing.

My Review:

Blood Bond is one of those cross genres with the pararotic blend without any heavy rotic. Despite expecting more considering its a menage type romance it had decent romance. The whole three way relationship is always something that you have to sort of lean into slowly because you have the complexity of multiple pursuers and an indecisive female that wants the best of both worlds. The time travel thing was only so so for me, I thought it would have been just as good if it didn't have the travel aspect and could have been expanded on but I liked all the characters and I liked the authors creative details. The book had potential to be so much more but its well written and is entertaining and there's just enough there that I hope to see more of these guys in the future cameo or otherwise.

My career was going down the tubes until I got up on that stage with Alicia. At first she was just a way to keep my label off my back ... but everything’s changed.

A part of me I thought was dead forever is coming back to life, and it’s because of her. All the crap I’ve been running away from all these years -- I almost feel like I can face it so long as she’s with me.

Is that crazy? Maybe. All I know is that letting her go is not an option.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My Review:

I enjoyed reading Hung although I think the title confused me at first on what I thought it would be about but I suppose it can be like hung up on life kind of reference. Anyway Alicia and Clay find their way together to make an 'arrangement' in order to provide Clay a more positive image so that he won't lose his career. Buts its finding that the career doesn't really matter when you realize that the situation you've placed yourself in becomes real to you the person you didn't think would matter becomes more important to you. I really hoped this story would be so much more because everything that takes place and develops happens so quickly to make up for the limited page time I really felt that this story could have used the length and the development to make it feel more whole instead of rushed which is understandable being a novella. Still its a good story and I liked its potential.

My Review:

I have some mixed feelings about the relationship between our h/h but the whole beautiful ugly duckling thing was appealing since so many romances these days are around the perfect duo except usually the males who tend to be bad boys and so on. Although we get our bad boy the supermodel heroine wasn't the spot light. I liked that even though she didn't feel like it Ian brought that out in her and was able to make her feel as if she was. That's the kind of hero women want to read about and that's why I enjoyed this book so much.
