Jk Rowlings Teaser Trailer

Trailer:

J.K. Rowling's Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

J.K. Rowling has said that the film will start in New York, around 1920, seventy years before the Harry Potter series, and will feature Newton Scamander as a main character. It is unclear whether the rest of the film will be set in New York.[5] Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them tells us that Scamander had been travelling the world in research of magical creatures since 1918, culminating with the publication of his masterpiece in 1927.

Warner Bros approached Rowling about using the book for a film, from which she pitched "an idea that [she] couldn't dislodge".[5] Upon returning to Harry Potter for the first time since 2007, Rowling commented: "I always said that I would only revisit the wizarding world if I had an idea that I was really excited about and this is it."[5] She stated that the idea of seeing Scamander "realised by another author was difficult," hence her decision to be the film's screenwriter. As of the film's announcement, there is no set date for when it might go into production.[6]

On March 29, 2014, The New York Times reported the adaptation of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be a trilogy.[7]

On May 13, 2014, it was announced the first film will be released on November 18, 2016.[3]

On 6 October, 2014, J. K. Rowling posted the cryptic message "Cry, foe! Run amok! Fa awry! My wand won’t tolerate this nonsense." on her official Twitter account.[8] She confirmed the following day that this message was a riddle, and the solution, while not part of the script, was the first sentence of a synopsis of Newt Scamander's story.[9] The anagram was solved later that day, with Rowling confirming the solution of "Newt Scamander only meant to stay in New York for a few hours.

Movie Synopsis

The story revolves around Newt Scamander's arrival at the Magical Congress of the United States of America, for a meeting with an important official. Central to the story and this meeting is a magically expanded briefcase which houses a number of dangerous creatures and their habitats. When the creatures escape from the briefcase, it sends the American wizarding authorities after Newt, and it threatens even further the state of magical and non-magical relations, which is already in a dangerous place, due to the threatening presence of the fanatical extremist group that call themselves, in short, "The Second Salemers". The story tells of what effect this devastating mistake has on the state of wizard/No-Maj (the American term for a non-magical person) relations in New York City's community of wizards and witches in 1926, the effort to correct the mistake, and the horrors of the resultant increase in violence, fear, and tension felt between magical and non-magical peoples.

The film will be released on 18, November 2016, in 3D and the new IMAX

Side Note:

I love that this movie is going to be a part of another trilogy but last I heard Rowling was supposed to release the war Potters parents were a part of. This series wasn't supposed to come out until after. Maybe the production company plans on combining them? Any thoughts or excitement over the new films?

Love and Lap Dances Volume 2 by Katie de Long

Review:

Love and Lapdances Volume 2: True Love, Stripper Style - Katie de Long, Michelle Browne

Love and Lap Dances Volume 2 by Katie de Long

The exotic dancers and employees of the Queen of Clubs walk a fine line, with only wits, beauty, and market savvy to keep them from toppling into the shark pit. Ride shotgun through lapdances, romance, and sexual awakenings. Don’t worry, these girls won’t ask what your hands are doing under the tip rail.
This collection contains novellas 8-13 in the Love and Lap Dances series. These stories are intended for mature audiences, and include graphic content.
Here are the stories contained in Love and Lapdances, Volume 2:
Teach Me—After Cora crosses some boundaries at work, her relationship with Kirk—and their jobs—are in the crossfire.
Plan B—Changes come in threes. Lia's son is about to graduate when an injury forces her to stop dancing. What'll the last change be?
Dare You—Candy's dusting off her broken heart when a confrontation with a regular forces her to enlist outside help. But when Rafe learns the truth about her, will he still view their chance meeting as a good thing?
Fallen—With so much changing so fast, Tori and Bradley's relationship is on the rocks. Can a family emergency pull them together?
Bet You—When a fellow dancer begs Saffron to keep her ex away from her, Saffron has no idea what she's in for. Chase can be intense, immature, and strangely endearing. But will the way their relationship began cause the way it ends?
Party Girl—Lee lives for the moment, right up until she's fired from the Queen of Clubs for acts of prostitution. Her oldest friend will be there for her no matter what, but can the client she got caught serving help, too?

My Review:
Love and Lap Dances is great for an erotic read when all you are looking for is the seduction but I didn't feel a whole lot of body or passion. The anthology of erotic tales is fun and well written but I think I had the expectation of reading a more fully developed novel. That being said Love and Lap Dances is great with the ball buster chicks.
Miss Long has created a world around her dirty ladies that drag you kicking and screaming into some shady situations, people, and places that are just naughty enough to be fun.
Although there were some things I didn't like harsh reality is a bitch of a mistress.

4 Stars

A Discreet Gentleman of Discovery (Discreet Gentleman, #1) by Kris Tualla

Review:

A Discreet Gentleman of Discovery (Discreet Gentleman, #1) - Kris Tualla

A Discreet Gentleman of Discovery (Discreet Gentleman, #1) by Kris Tualla

Brander Hansen lost his hearing at age seven, his inheritance at twenty-three. Furious at his father's betrayal, Brander leaves home to make his way as Lord Olsen, a 'discreet gentleman of discovery' in 1721 Christiania, Norway. He intends to gain his own estate and begins buying the debt markers on Kildahlshus.
Baroness Regin Kildahl's husband has gambled away her estate and sunk to more dangerous habits. She writes to Lord Olsen soliciting his help saving both her husband and her home. When her husband dies, Regin offers herself and her title to anyone who will redeem his gambling debts, unaware of Brander's plan and circumventing his efforts.
The Hansen heir accepts her offer and hires Lord Olsen to deliver his bride. Brander's choices are clear: give the widow and her estate to his younger brother, or claim them both as his own. But who would accept a deaf husband?

My Review:
I had to rate this book five stars, I absolutely love the deaf hero because it makes him so endearing. Oddly its not the main focus of Branders existence its just a part of who he is. I love that the author didn't spend the entire book obsessing over his fault and making it a part of the whole book. Its interesting to see how he investigates both sides of the debt case and has to find where his loyalties lie. I wasn't sure I liked Regin at first and I am still left with a few mixed feelings toward her but I liked the way she finally felt for Brand and the sex was written in a way I didn't expect. There is a lot of social/political/emotional upheaval for Brand because of his position, job, and family but I felt Tualla has written a truly beautiful story with equally beautiful characters.

Unconventional Fling (A Working Girl's Guide #1) by Allyson Lindt

Unconventional Fling - Allyson Lindt

Unconventional Fling (A Working Girl's Guide #1) by Allyson Lindt

Jade is in Nashville on her third week of a month-long business trip. She doesn't mind seeing a new city every week, but she's dragging after so many without a break. When a sexy stranger wants to share her breakfast table, she welcomes the change in scenery. The easy banter and teasing that dances behind the eyes of the handsome voice actor have her wondering if just this once, a one-night stand might be worth her time.
Brandon is tired of the playboy image that comes with his cult-celebrity status. When he meets a business woman with a travel schedule as hectic as his, she lights a spark deep inside. The problem is, he's hoping for something long-term, and she's hesitant to start anything that will become long-distance. With less than three days before they go their separate ways, Brandon has to show Jade there's more to them than just an unconventional fling.

My Review:
Unconventional Fling is a super short romance but its fun and gives us nerd types a story that puts the geeks in the lime light. In a good way. I totally dug the whole fact that Brandon is the voice character for anime movies. That totally won me. Plus comic-con ? Yes. Although I felt the sex and the relationship could use some improvement I totally dug that this wasn't the typical celebrity romance you see everywhere I've long since grown tired of. It puts the so called losers in a good light and I love it.

Twenty-one-year-old Jess used to have everything—a loyal best friend, a boyfriend she loved, and a future that was right on track. But in a single night, her whole world changed.

Thanks to a sports injury, gorgeous, charming basketball star Adam Carson is stuck in physical therapy at the hospital where Jess interns—giving her the perfect opportunity to see his sweet, considerate nature and making her realize that maybe she does want something more.
But while Adam might be the best thing that’s happened to Jess in a long time, letting him past her carefully constructed walls means letting him know what happened...and why he'd never want her for more than one night.

Dark Alpha's Claim (Reaper #1) by Donna Grant

Review:

Dark Alpha's Claim (Reaper #1) by Donna Grant

My whole existence is based on taking what Death wants. Born to eliminate Fae guilty of unforgivable crimes, my reckless, wild nature makes me the perfect assassin to carry out Death's bidding. I've seen more sinister and violent dealings than anyone could ever imagine.
But it was the sight of her face that stopped me cold. I've never wanted a woman-never mind a human-so badly; never felt my heart, hardened by death, burn brighter and hotter until it burst into flames. She is everything I desire. The kind of woman that compels you to stake your claim on her, to let the world know that she's yours.
A Reaper saving her life will only attract danger, but I vow to protect her at all costs from the Fae that hunt her, and keep safe the woman who has claimed me, body and soul.

My Review:
Do you hear that... Its the sound of squish being made in my panties... This book is so sexy.

Baylon and Jordyn are fantastic together! Although I'm not a big fan of the instant love attraction (because the whole follow you home thing- not attractive), I still absolutely loved this book once I let go of the creep factor.

I loved everything about it. I loved the Fae angle, I loved Reapers, I loved the action suspense and the intrigue of the entire thing. Donna Grant has created a dark and thrilling world and I can't get enough of it.

Misconduct by Penelope Douglas

Review:

Misconduct - Penelope Douglas

  Misconduct by Penelope Douglas

Former tennis player Easton Bradbury is trying to be the best teacher she can be, trying to reach her bored students and trying to forget her past. What brought her to this stage in her life isn’t important. She can’t let it be. But now one parent-teacher meeting may be her undoing…
Meeting Tyler Marek for the first time makes it easy for Easton to see why his son is having trouble in school. The man knows how to manage businesses and wealth, not a teenage boy. Or a young teacher, for that matter, though he tries to. And yet…there is something about him that draws Easton in—a hint of vulnerability, a flash of attraction, a spark that might burn.
Wanting him is taboo. Needing him is undeniable. And his long-awaited touch will weaken Easton’s resolve—and reveal what should stay hidden

My Review:
Misconduct had some really great sex but as for the rest of it I really couldn't get into the characters, the relationships, politics, or the circumstances and positions since they mostly put me off. Misconduct really isn't a poorly written book because Douglas writes well but the story didn't agree with me as a whole. I'm sure it will be different for everyone who reads the story but I am grateful for being given the chance to read the book.
