A really poor comparison to the book. If you've read the book, don't watch this movie its going to ruin it for you. If you have seen this movie - read the book I can promise you that you're missing out on so much and its so much better.  I'm really bummed out that the film failed to capture how fantastic the world of the book really is.

The most honest look at women and the effect of the fashion industry on our outlook on our appearances. I cried through almost this entire film. Its emotional, its real, its the best documentary I've seen to date. Every woman needs to see this! I love the message of embracing ourselves for who we really are and the effect of social media on trying to improve how women feel about themselves. Straight Curve is beautiful and heartbreaking and inspirational all at the same time.
