I thought the concept behind this book was an interesting one.

I wish there had been a more detailed exploration of what its really like to carry, see, hear, feel the burdens of other people's thoughts and feelings.

I really appreciated the concept of friendship and the progression readers are taken on along with Michael. However there is another place readers get to explore another level of emotion they get to experience.

In a lot of ways Mind Secrets reminds me of the show The Tomorrow People because there is so much complexity and multiple levels of adventure and the abilities and the group of friends and all the background suspense and him being on the run its really great.

It Came From Hell and Smashed the Angels by Gregor Xane

Review:

Thanks to his big ugly mug, Ben Coburn always played the heavy in Hollywood. Yeah, his name was in the credits of a bunch of low-budget B-movie horror shows, but at least he could say he was in the movies.

That was a long time ago.

Now Ben sits alone in a trailer park listening to an old married couple across the way argue about money, just nursing a beer, waiting for something to happen.

But nothing ever happens. That pisses him off.

No, Big Ben Coburn isn't going to wait around anymore. He jumps on his motorcycle and tears off into the night.

Intent on escaping into a new life, he races past a field of scarecrows, barreling headlong down the highway toward a blazing inferno and a bottomless pit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I loved this story. I wanted so much going in and I got it and more! I am so impressed with the detail, the imagery, the talent and the simple flow that kept me reading from beginning to end.

Too short skit with just enough suspense to keep you turning the pages, plus a delightful turn at the end that made me fall in love!

I read the story five times and I still can't get enough!
