An American nanny is shocked that her new English family's boy is actually a life-sized doll. After she violates a list of strict rules, disturbing events make her believe that the doll is really alive.

The Boy is a little strange, still oddly interesting in an attempt to play on the doll theme that many horror movies are cashing in on lately. The twist was fairly predictable and of course the ending which is amusing is typical of thriller flicks like this.

The only thing that could have been improved was the execution of its more emotional scenes which felt a little numb and a little disjointed.
