In Safe Hands (Search and Rescue #4) by Katie Ruggle

Review:

In Safe Hands (Search and Rescue) - Katie Ruggle

In the remote Rocky Mountains, lives depend on the Search & Rescue brotherhood. But in a place this far off the map, trust is hard to come by and secrets can be murder...

It's all come down to this...

Daisy Little has lived in agoraphobic terror for over eight years. Trapped within a prison of her own making, she watches time pass through her bedroom window.

Daisy knows she'll never be a part of the world...until the day she becomes the sole witness of a terrible crime that may finally tear the Search and Rescue brotherhood apart for good.

First off, if you haven't read this series yet you will be so much happier if you pick it up from the beginning. Trust me. The reveals and the oh, by the ways are so much more intense if you read the series all the way through.

Shut in gets dragged kicking and screaming into the world then has her own world turned upside down by reality.

I felt a little put off by Daisy despite her issues due to her past which were noticeable and understandable but it created a kind of childish nature in her that didn't quite mesh with me. Chris was great and he was sweet and he was good to her but at the same time he's kind of what she needed too.

The townies are fun to see from her point of view and are kind of her only outlet to the outside world which seems comical and slightly voyeuristic.

In Safe Hands has plenty of twisted creepiness but it also has heart and love. Its a great read.
