Her Rogue Alpha (X-Ops #5) by Paige Tyler

Review:

Her Rogue Alpha (X-Ops) - Paige Tyler

HE'LL DO ANYTHING FOR HER
Former Special Forces Lieutenant Jayson Harmon can't believe that his war scars don't matter to beautiful feline shifter Layla Halliwell. Why would she saddle herself with a broken man?

But Layla knows that Jayson is a hero to the core, and that only she can heal his wounded soul. So when Jayson is deployed on another deadly mission, no way is Layla staying behind.

Her Rogue Alpha was a wonderful book that I really liked. I especially liked Layla and Jayson because they are complete under dogs that have no confidence in themselves but are totally loved for exactly who they are regardless of the fact that they are both trying so hard to be anything but themselves.

They are both trying to change who they are to prove they can be better and can be worthy of the other but what they don't see is that they are already perfect and already liked for who they are before they go out trying to prove they can be more than they are.

Its them having to learn to love themselves for who they are and open their hearts into accepting that so that they can learn to accept that they are loved for who they are and not who they think they need to be. Its sad but its sweet. That's the mixture that makes Her Rogue Alpha so perfect for me.
