A climbing expedition on Mt. Everest is devastated by a severe snow storm.

Based on a true story.

Everything in this movie really kind of happens so fast that you don't have a lot of time to really take in all the emotional parts. This makes the film feel really short even though its like two hours long.

Its hard to know what actually took place for real and what was written in for the sake of excitement but in the end the movie wasn't really about the 12 some odd people who died that day, it was about Beck being left for dead on the mountain and surviving under his own will power.

Everest was okay but I mostly liked the actual footage documenting the real people and what happened after the events that took place during that climb.

Everest could have been better but it was still worth the watch.
