An insomniac office worker, looking for a way to change his life, crosses paths with a alter-ego devil-may-care soap maker, forming an underground fight club that evolves into something much, much more.

There's something genius about the insanity in this film. I think this is one of those movies that could have only been good at a certain time and I believe that they made this movie in just the right period to pull it off. If they had tried to make this film now  for this generation I don't think it would have worked. Granted Fight Club also didn't make a lot during its release but I've always been one for liking films that haven't always done so great. It wasn't a failure by any means and its definitely developed an underground/cult genre following over the years not to mention that I've always liked movies that push boundaries and explore questionable psychology. With its journey into the mind of our favorite head case from small beginnings to wide spread anarchist this movie has always been a favorite.
