Lots of News!
The mass market edition of DEADLINE is now available.  Just in time for summer beach reading and ... the hunt is on!

We're Doing a Contest:
We realize that some of you might have had trouble pre-ordering Deadline and, in an effort to support local/brick and mortar AND Indie bookstores, we've come up with a special contest.  Tweet us a photo of you, with your receipt and your paperback copy of Deadline between now and July 15, using the hashtag #DeadlineHunt.

One lucky winner will receive an autographed copy of MEAN STREAK AND a signed poster of the MEAN STREAK cover.

The lovely folks at Grand Central worked hard on the cover for MEAN STREAK and we're all very proud!

Mean Streak
What are reviewers saying about MEAN STREAK?

"A solid novel of romantic suspense" -- Publishers Weekly

"Just when you think you've got things figured out, Brown pulls a clever twist.  Sit back and enjoy." -- Romantic Times TOP PICK

You can find an excerpt and pre-order links here. And you can check out the book trailer and a behind-the-book video on YouTube.

WHAT'S NEXT?

 * SET YOUR DVR!! Sunday, July 6, I'll be on Face the Nation with fellow authors Karin Slaughter, David Ignatius, Lee Child and Jeffrey Deaver.

 * We'll be uploading new videos to the YouTube Sandra Brown - David Baldacci BEA 2014channel every two weeks between now and the release of MEAN STREAK. I hope you'll check them out.

 * I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this year's BEA.  It's always great to catch up with readers, librarians...and old friends like David Baldacci (pictured with me here).

 * What's on your summer reading list (besides Deadline!)? I recently finished Natchez Burning by Greg Iles--a long, involved story about the sins of the father being visited upon the sons. Specifically it's about the atrocities that took place during the Civil Rights Movement in Mississippi and Louisiana and the damage inflicted upon another generation.  Of all human emotions, love and hatred endured.

It's very long but well worth the read! Now I need something new for my nightstand...
